Press Release: JOHN HEMMING-CLARK

"Carpet-bagging is alive and kicking in Bromley & Chislehurst Constituency.

With the three main parties plus UKIP having declared their candidates it is noted that they are all carpetbaggers.

Commenting on this development, Independent Candidate, John Hemming-Clark commented,

"They all want to stand in Bromley & Chislehurst, but don't want to live there. The Liberal Democrat and UKIP candidates live outside the Constituency, Bob Neill - touted by the Conservatives as a "local" - lives in Tower Hamlets and the Labour Candidate, Rachel Reeves, lives in Yorkshire. So much for having a local person with local knowledge who can be at any constituent's home within 10 minutes.

I live in the Constituency, in Chislehurst, and whilst the others may appear once in a blue moon I am in Bromley and Chislehurst every day. I know what the local needs are because I live there. I have a passion for the area because I sleep there."
